Marcia graduated from BSA, and then was accepted as a dance major to the esteemed institute of State University of New York Purchase College.  While studying at Suny Purchase, she had the opportunity to study abroad at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.  Marcia’s performance experience includes dancing in the Virginia Opera’s production of Salome, The Flying Dutchman, and Turandot.   Marcia traveled to South Korea where she performed in the Seoul International Dance Festival and danced with Sungeun Yoon’s company, The Move.  She currently performs for Kevin LaMarr Jones with his company Claves Unidos and Glen Lewis’s company Iswel Dance Theatre. Marcia first performed with Iswel Dance Theatre in the New Century Dance Project’s 2022 Dance Festival in Santa Fe New Mexico and in collaboration with the Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.  Marcia was invited to perform her choreography as a part of the Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers Inhale Performance Series.  Marcia values educating young artist through dance. She has been a guest choreographer with the Appomattox Regional Governors School in Petersburg, VA where she created a ballet on their dancers.
